Family Movie Night:  Friday May 16^th at 6:30pm.  We will be watching Night at the Museum here at the church this evening.  No charge for the movie.  There will be snacks and drinks on sale and all proceeds will go to children/youth ministries.  Tell your friends!!!  All are welcome!!!

 

Sunday School:  We would love to see you and your children in Sunday School!  We gather around 9:45 and then get started around 10am.  Even if you are not able to join us, please drop your kids off as we would love to spend time with them searching for God’s message for them.  

 

2008 Pledges: We will be handing out pledge cards for the calendar year 2008 the next couple of Sundays.  As your new pastor I failed to make this happen last fall so we will get back on track for this year.  As you hear the prayers for offerings each week, we give thanks to God for all the blessings we each receive.  Our financial situation is no different as it too is a gift from God.  Please pray about this and respond as your heart is calling you to commit to the financial life of this community of faith.  I do not know what God has in store for Hollydale, but I know that we have the opportunity through our financial giving to respond to building up God’s kingdom upon this earth!!

 

Confirmation Classes: We need your continued prayers!  Please pray for Olivia, Nathan and Robbie as they learn what it means to make a personal decision for Christ over the next few weeks.  Commitment Sunday is coming up on May 18^th….please continue to pray for these young adults!!

 

Prayer Team:  Thank you for the wonderful response.  Emily will be helping to organize this so look for more information from her in the next couple of weeks as we begin to cover this church and (more importantly) this community with prayer!!!
