PRAISES!!! Received from Lynn Reynolds.......See Bill's note below regarding his cancer and what the doctor's are telling him.  Keep up the prayers, they are working!!

It's been a while since I've been able to share good news about this monster I've been fighting for almost five years, but here goes: Yesterday, for the first time, a doctor used the word "curable" in discussing my disease. I won't go into all the details, and I have a long way to go, but if the current treatment goes as planned I'll be able to have "cyber knife" surgery and hopefully kill off this monster. Up until this point, my treatments have been designed to extend life. Now, we're talking about a cure. I'll admit I still feel pretty rough physically, but mentally I'm doing much, much better. For the first time in a long time I feel like I can make plans for the future. That is a wonderful feeling. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, and please continue to do so. I'm one of God's miracles and you played a role in making that happen. Thank you. — Bill

Please hold Chase Jones in your prayers.  Chase is the grandson of Cheryl and Mike Jones and will be undergoing knee surgery on Friday, September 3rd.  See Cheryl's message below and hold Chase and his family in your prayers during this time.  Thank you. 

HI Susan,   Please place Chase on the  prayer list.   We learned yesterday he will require surgery to his knee.  He will be unable to participate in any sports for approximately 6 months. This means he won't be able to play football or basketball.  Hopefully, he can rehab in time for baseball.   Surgery is scheduled for Friday, 9/3 @ 11:00.   In addition, if this surgery doesn't do the trick, he would require a procedure that would prevent him from every playing any sport.   I realize it seems silly, but when a young man is so involved & defined by sports - socially & physically - it can be difficult to transition.  Pray that Chase will be surrounded by good friends & support and that he will be lifted up to the challenge this presents for him.   Thank you!   Cheryl

Connie Thomas Hi everyone! All of you prayer warriors, add me to your list. I spent a couple of days in the hospital with heart palpitations this week and am home until I see my cardiologist on Monday. I'm wearing an "event monitor" for the next 21 days to see if they can figure out what's triggering them. Will keep everyone posted.

Gail's surgery procedure went very well and she is back to her normal self and wants to thank EVERYONE for all their prayers, cards, food, etc.  And we are grateful for Gail!

Gail Black will be undergoing out-patient surgery on Tuesday, 8/24, for kidney stones.  She asked to thank everyone for their calls and prayers and to please keep her and the medical team in your prayers on Tuesday.  Thank you.

Please be in prayer for Lovette.  She is currently at Cobb General.  Hopefully, she will be able to go home in a few days, but she had a rough day earlier this week.  Pray for continued healing.
