Susan, please share this with Hollydale Methodist.  I have an update from Karen Peterson.  He had surgery to remove a brain tumor this past Monday.  The surgeon team got most of the tumor but they couldn't safely get all of it.  There was also one part that didn't look the same as the rest so they separated and sent both off for pathology. 

Keep all of this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Susan, I would like to request prayers for my nephew, Ricky Pierce who lives in Rome Ga.  He had surgery 18 months ago to remove his Prostrate.  He was told that the Gleason score was 9 of 10 which is 1 point away from the worst.  He will begin 39 radiation treatments the day before Thanksgiving and have treatments 5 days a week.  This is his second round of treatment considering he had the problem previously and had the surgery.

Just lifting him up in prayers.

Hello Susan and Hollydale family
I need your prayers for my mom and dad. They both need medical attention. My mother needs a behavioral health intervention and my dad needs hernia and knee surgery. This trip to Iowa is very heart breaking to see my parents in this state of mind. Rick and I will be leaving tomorrow mid morning to head back to Georgia. Pray for intervention and strength for me as I leave them. I’ve seen and believe In miracles and the power of prayer.

Received a text yesterday evening from Carole Beacham requesting prayers for her sister-in-law.  Sorry for delay in passing this along but didn’t see it until this morning. 

Please keep Miriam Creech, Ed Beacham’s sister, in your prayers.  Miriam is in ICU at Northside Forsyth Hospital.  She is in critical condition with still unknown causes.   Kidneys are struggling and her heart stopped at one point.  Please pray for answers, comfort and healing.  Thank you.

Please keep Stanley & Louise White in your prayers as they leave Wednesday bound for Houston, TX for the upcoming birth of Irene, Hailey’s and Alex’s first child and Stanley & Louise’s first great-grandchild.   They are traveling by car, so travel mercies for them for such a long drive as we know Stanley struggles with back problems and sitting for such a long time will be bothersome at the least.  Pray for a healthy baby girl!  Thank you.

As I was perusing Facebook and drinking my coffee this morning, I came upon a special message from Kahmani Zeon that I felt needed to be shared with her Hollydale family.  As many know, Kahmani is currently in Hong Kong in school.  Below is what she shared and I’m passing this along to you for consideration.  What an AWESOME missionary Kahmani would be to the people in Kenya!  He love for the Lord is amazing and she will show that just in her smile.  Please consider supporting her first international mission trip.  The link to her GoFundMe account is provided below as well.

 

My purpose in life is to heal and help people. One of my biggest short-term goals is to go on a mission trip before graduating college. I graduate in May 2020, and have been blessed with the opportunity to go to Kenya in December 2019. Acworth UMC's Young Adult Group will be in Kenya from December 28th through January 8th. Within the next 60 days, I will be  raising money for my visa, vaccinations, travel expenses, and accommodations. This is my first international mission trip. I aspire to do missionary work all over the world. I want my hands to heal, and my smile to uplift every person I encounter. Please follow and help me on this new journey.

Received the pray request below from Mary Justice for Katie Baker.  Please keep Katie, her unborn baby and their family in your prayers.  Thank you.

 

I wanted to share this prayer request with Hollydale.  This is from Katie Baker, daughter of Jim and Kelly.  Katie is expecting her 2nd child and there are some concerns and I would like for the prayer warriors to lift her up and her sweet family.  She had a level two ultrasound done on Tuesday of this week. There is a chance that the little baby has a heart defect and she has another ultrasound scheduled on the 29th of October to determine what they want to do from here.  This is a lot on this young mother and her family.  The Bakers were a very special family here at Hollydale.  We watched Katie and Maggie grow up.

Please keep my grandnephew, Hunter Province, and his girlfriend Tina Eiss in your prayers.  They were involved in a terrible head on collision yesterday in Columbus, GA and both are in the hospital with multiple injuries.  A passenger in their care and the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and in the hospital as well.  Hunter had surgery this morning due to multiple fractures and broken bones and the doctor said he was lucky to be alive, but with the surgery should recover with time. Tina had both legs broken, a fractured pelvis and a broken jaw.  She had one surgery and will undergo additional surgery soon.  Prayers for comfort, acceptance and healing for all those involved.  Prayers also for their parents and family as they deal with this situation and the fear that filled them when they heard of the accident.  Thank you.

Please continue to keep Janie Deadwyler’s grandson in your prayers.  As many are aware he was involved in a terrible accident.  Pastor Hull sent this update “ Doctors removed breathing tubes from sis Jaynie’s grandson and he breathed on his own. Doctors are calling it a miracle 🙌🏼’  Praise God!  Please continue to pray for complete healing and comfort through this trial.  Thank you.
