Update from Louise on her back surgery. God is good! Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Hi Susan,

Had my surgery this morning and I. He was able to see more damage while he was in doing the procedure and was able to fix it. see while he is doing the procedure I am in having 2 MRIs at the same time and he can aim the cement at just the right spots (my back right now feels better than it has in at least 20 to 30 years.)

Please thank everyone for their prayers and I will be back as soon as possible.

Please keep Cindy Northrop and her family in your prayers.  Cindy has struggled for quite some time battling cancer and just recently fell and broke her arm.  The medical team caring for Cindy has decided to put her on morphine for pain and under hospice care.  This is obviously devastating news to Cindy, as well as Carole and their family.  Prayers for understanding, acceptance, comfort, peace and healing for Cindy and strength for Carole as they travel this journey.  Thank you.

Please keep Louise White in your prayers. She sent me the message below regarding another fall she has incurred. Prayers for answers, comfort and healing and for Stanley in caring for her. Thank you.

Please be in prayer for me, Louise White, as I took a horrible fall (yes, on the stairs again but this time I was going up.) I was in pain immediately my back, my legs, my hips, even my ribs, virtually everywhere. I begged Stanley not to call 911, I would be fine until I could see my orthopedics doctor. Which it being Labor Day-I wasn't able to call until Tuesday morning. After x-rays were taken the doctor said he wanted to have a MRI but is pretty sure I broke my back in the L4 to L5 region. My doctor says he will have my report on Tuesday so I have will keep you up to date.

Please keep Shelley Brewster’s dad in your prayers.  Shelley sent the message below this morning concerning his health struggle.  Prayers for comfort and healing for him as he goes through his radiation and chemo treatments.  We all know God is in the miracle business! 

 

Hey Susan,  asking for prayers for my Dad.  His cancer is back, but he has found that the survival rate is 3-5 years (no cure).  He will start radiation on September 18th then chemo to follow.  Please send good vibes and prayers to Maryville, Tn for him.  Praying that he will come through and will surpass the statistics bc God is on our side.

Prayers are needed for Cindy Northrop as she has been admitted to the hospital and is not doing well at all.  Please pray for answers, comfort, healing and peace as Cindy has battled cancer for a few years now and is struggling right now to survive.  Please keep Carole, her mother, in your prayers as well as she has been by Cindy’s side through her journey and needs strength and comfort.  Thank you.

UPDATE from Donna on her medical situation. Her heart is okay and she shared she has a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia which has caused nerve damage in her face and it radiates down her arm. She is being released to go home today. Thank you to all who have held her in your prayers and we ask you to continue to keep her in them going forward. Thank you.

Please keep the Gail Black and the Pitner family in your prayers.  Gail lost her niece, Susan Pitner, recently.  Susan was very special to their family as she was the planner of all the family trips and host for most of the family gatherings and was truly loved by all.  She will be missed deeply.  Susan and her family attended Acworth UMC.  Please pray for comfort and peace as the family grieves the loss of their loved one.  Thank you

Please keep Larry Miller and his wife Milly in your prayers.  Milly is a former coworker of mine and in the past the Hollydale family held Larry up in prayer as he was having a double lung transplant.  He’s done quite well with the transplant over the past several years, but recently had to have surgery to remove a long blood clot from his leg and the surgery was not successful.  He has been moved to a skilled nursing facility in Tampa and amputation was recommended but Larry has refused that option. Milly shared that they don’t know how long this road is going to be but would appreciate Larry being lifted up and prayers for whatever outcome God feels is right.  Thank you.
