Message and request for prayer from Toni Cox on behalf of Donna Parrish’s grandson Noah……..
I have a prayer request and praise for Hollydale UMC. I was just in a conversation with Donna Parrish and she shared that her grandson. Noah will be deployed at zero 400 tomorrow morning(Wednesday) to go serve his time in the military in Germany. That is a huge thing for Noah and for this family. I asked that we all pray for him for safe travels and for strength and for a new way of life, praise God!
Joyce’s heart is operating at 25-30%. Not certain if this is related to a heart attack, trauma of the fall, age or a combo. Concerned about the risks of the heart cath and giving it another day. Joyce is saying she doesn’t want to do it. Which case they will try to treat with medication.
Update for Joyce...
Saturday - 6/8 - Joyce had a good day. Worked with PT and OT and sat in the chair for a while. Her lab numbers are moving in the right direction. Hopeful for the transfer to WellStar Paulding NH/Rehab on West Memorial Drive on Monday. Other than not being able to watch the Braves play, she is in good spirits. Thanks again for the prayers.
SUNDAY - 6/9 - Urgent prayers are needed. They think that Joyce had a heart attack last night (6/8). Her enzymes were elevated but the ultrasound did not show any signficant blockage. They are waiting on the ECHO and additional blood work.

Joyce has been accepted into a rehab facility. Prayers that she is stable to be moved on Monday. Some of her blood work is out of the normal range but not uncommon for someone her age who just went through surgery. She had some of the same issues when she broke her wrist. The PT was pleased with her progress today. All answers to prayers. We are grateful for all of the ones you are sending up for her. ❤️

We would like to thank everyone for their prayers for my mother-in-law, Dottie Arcaro. She had a brain bleed, broke her collar bone, and broke her pelvis ring. They got the brain bleed stabilized. They did surgery on her collar bone today. She will be in the hospital for 2-3 weeks for rehab 6 days a week, 3 hours a day. We see God moving and are very thankful!

Please keep my coworker’s brother, Greg Hollingsworth, in your prayers. Greg was recently diagnosed with cancer and has started treatments. He’s struggling mentally and physically due to this recent diagnosis. His brother Michael is helping him and making sure he keeps his doctor and treatment appointments. Prayers for his healing and his family as they go through this troubling time with their loved one. Thank you.
Please be in prayer for Ken Spivey. He is in the hospital because he fell yesterday, and cracked a rib. While there the doctors determined he had a serious UTI, which probably contributed to the fall.
