Received word below from Carolyn Wilson that David has been admitted to Kennestone Hospital and is undergoing some tests. They believe he has pancreatitis and will be doing more testing. Please keep David in your prayers, along with Carolyn and the medical team caring for him and answers and healing. Thank you.

Please be in prayer for my daughter’s friend, Athenia Blomquist and her family.  Athenia has been battling breast cancer since 2021 when she was first diagnosed, with going into remission and the cancer returning a couple of different times.  Athenia has made the decision to not do anymore treatments.  She’s now under Hospice home care and says she’s at peace with her decision.  Athenia is in her early 40’s, is a wife and mother of two boys.  Prayers for comfort, acceptance and peace for her and her family as she moves through this next step of her journey.  Thank you.

Please keep Fred Birk and his father in your prayers. Fred’s dad has had some health issues recently and has been placed in a nursing home for rehabilitation. He is not happy about it and wants to go home but he’s not able to care for himself. Fred is flying home to Iowa next week and they have some decisions to make about his father and his ongoing care. Please pray for answers, discernment for what is best for his father and comfort and healing. Thank you.

Received an update from Gail Black on Josh Bryan.  Josh went home from the hospital yesterday and is doing much better.  Continued prayers are appreciated for him.  Thank you.

Please keep Josh Bryan and his family in your prayers.  Josh is the husband of Gail Black’s sister Wynona;s.  Josh has been sick for a while but refused to go to the doctor.  He had an infected arm and was in a good bit of pain.  Gail convinced him to go to WellStar Cobb Hospital where they did surgery on his left arm.  They admitted him and have found cancer in his back and maybe other areas.  He had cancer before and thought it may be back.  Prayers for answers, acceptance, treatments, comfort, and healing.  Thank you.

Please keep Tre McDonald and his family in your prayers. Tre is the grandson of my daughter’s husband’s Aunt Sissy. Tre is a Rome GA police officer who was involved in a high-speed chase and crash earlier this week. His partner, John Chandler, was badly injured as well. Tre received a severe concussion and badly bruised all over, but the medical team didn’t find any additional internal injuries. He is now recovering at home and not sure when he will be able to return to work. His partner, John, may not ever be able to return to work due to his injuries. They were chasing a criminal down Hwy 101 towards Rome and all went bad. Prayers for answers, comfort, and healing for them both. Thank you.

Update on Joyce

Joyce went home from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and is recovering from her surgery.  Angie shared with me this afternoon they were on the way to urgent care due to back pain.  Joyce has apparently pulled or strained a muscle and now has more medicine and ice of course for the soreness.  Please continue to keep her in your prayers for comfort and healing.  Thank you.

Joyce is at the ER. She was complaining earlier about chest pains. EKG was normal. Waiting on CT results. They are saying they will admit her overnight for observation.
