Please keep my daughter’s friend, Dr. Jennifer, in your prayers.  Dr. Jennifer has been awaiting a liver transplant for quite some time and some details are below.  Prayers for a donor and good health for Jennifer.  Thank you.   

She has been awaiting a liver transplant for quite some time. I do not know the underlying reason for the need for it. However, to receive a liver, your MELD score has to be a certain number. Her MELD score is continuing to increase, and she is now on the "top" of the list. According to her doctors, it could be a matter of months before she is able to have a transplant.  Please pray for a perfect match to come soon so that she can have this life saving surgery.  Her MELD score is higher than previous visits, however it is still not indicative of clinical illness.  Ideally, she would like a transplant prior to this number indicating clinical illness. 

Outside of being on the list and awaiting a donor,  her only option is to have a volunteer donor that is a match.
