Prayer Request

I received the message below from Rick regarding Fred Birk who had to go to the emergency room today due to chest pains and shortness of breath.  As we’ve shared earlier, Fred is under a lot of pressure and feeling a of anxiety due to his father’s nursing home situation.  Please pray for the medical team, answers for the right treatment, comfort and healing.  Thank you. 

Hi Susan-  Fred left work early today to go to Cobb ER because of chest pains and shortness of breath.  We’ve been here since 3:30 or so. When he arrived his blood pressure was 198/124.  They gave him meds to bring that down but it’s still too high 192/98.  They’ve decided to admit him and schedule a heart catheter tomorrow morning.  If that goes well he can probably go home afterwards.  Right now it’s still a bit of “wait and see.”
