Update

Received an update from Rick about 30 minutes ago and a follow up just now.  Prayer continue for Fred. 

12:24 pm - This is Rick texting for Fred.  He was just taken back for the heart catheter procedure.  It will be at least an hour, possible two before I know anything more.

1:03 pm – This is Rick again.  The doctor just came by and said the procedure went very well.  Things look clear and the problems he’s been having must be due to the high blood pressure.  Not sure if he’ll go home today, but fingers crossed because he is not getting any rest here in the hospital.

Received an update on Fred.  See below and please continue to keep him in your prayers.  He will not be at church tomorrow as they are keeping him in the hospital.  Please continue to keep him in your prayers.  Thank you. 

Fred is finally considered stable.  They’re going to keep him several days and move his heart catheter procedure to Monday morning.  He won’t be at Hollydale tomorrow.

I received the message below from Rick regarding Fred Birk who had to go to the emergency room today due to chest pains and shortness of breath.  As we’ve shared earlier, Fred is under a lot of pressure and feeling a of anxiety due to his father’s nursing home situation.  Please pray for the medical team, answers for the right treatment, comfort and healing.  Thank you.
