Special Days of Celebration

Hollydale United Methodist Church has always been an inclusive and diversified cultural church.  Diversity is more than just race. The early church and the church of today is made up of many generations, individuals of different economic classes, different races and personalities. This mix of people coming together in fellowship is what makes up the church and Hollydale does this quite well.  The month of June has a couple of events that represent different cultures and communities, and we want to recognize both the Pride Month for the LGBQT community and Juneteenth Day (June 19th) which represents the end of slavery in the United States.  Below are some brief descriptions of both events to share.  Let us continue to grow in our spirit and willingness to serve each other and share in God’s word at our church we call God’s House!
