Subject: Huge prayer request

Well, I was going to do something through face book to just a few but Beth has now posted it.  As of today, she is out of a job.  The company that she works for has closed their doors.  Not much of a notice.  Today is her last day. So needless to say, prayers please that something opens up fairly quickly.  This is not the news one would want during the holidays.  How do you be thankful for this?  If anyone knows of any openings, potential jobs and would like to reach out to Beth, here is her emails  Beth200@hotmail.comCareybeth1611@att.net.I know when a door closes, something better opens up.  Need it to open up rather quickly. Please keep her and Carey in your thoughts and prayers during this time as it will be quite stressful.

Thanks

Update - Urgent Prayer Request

Please continue to keep Douglas Camp, Carole Shelburne’s son in your prayers.  Carole has updated me that he has not yet been found and the police are handling the situation as a missing person at this time.  They checked his apartment and he wasn’t there, still no answer on his phone.  They can account for his whereabouts up to Monday night, so it appears whatever has happen was on Tuesday morning. Please pray for his safety and for comfort and patience for Carole and her family as they deal with this disappearance.  Thank you.

Urgent Prayer Request

Received the message below fromCarole Shelburne regarding her son Douglas Camp.  Please be in prayer that he is found quickly and is safe.  Thank you.

Susan I need the help of all the prayer warriors in our church.  I have just received word that my son Douglas Camp is missing.  He has not been seen since yesterday evening when he left work.  He did not go to work this morning and his truck is not at his apartment.  His phone just goes to voice mail.  We have the police on it and the jail and many hospitals have been contacted with no luck.  The next step is to get the apartment managers to open his door and see if he is in his home.  Please pray that he is safe and that he will be found soon.  Yours in Christ, Carole

Prayer Request

Please keep the family of Leighanne Purvis in your prayers.  Leighanne was a former coworker and friend of my son-in-law and daughter.  I received this message earlier from my daughter about Leighanne’s tragic suicide yesterday.  Please pray for understanding, acceptance, comfort and peace for her fiancé, her family and friends.  Thank you.

We found out last night that one of Cliff’s old co-workers, Leighanne, committed suicide yesterday. She was a real sweet girl and always seemed to be very happy. Mike dated her for a short amount of time.  Apparently she suffered from depression and lost her battle yesterday when she hung herself. It was a complete shock for all of us, she was newly engaged and seemed fine. Will you send a prayer request out for her family and friends? Thank you!!

Continued Prayer Request

Please continue to keep Kasey Smith in your prayers.  Kasey is the sister of my daughter's friend and we sent out a request for prayer a few weeks ago for her serious health condition.  Below is any update on her situation.  Thank you.

Here is an update on Kasey…

She was in rehab and doing pretty well. However, things took a turn for the worst at the end of last week. She was sent back to the hospital. She now needs another liver transplant, she had one as a child so this will be her second. Her father was going to be a donor, but she needs a full liver this time so they have to wait on a cadaver. While they’re doing the liver transplant, they also want to do a kidney transplant on both of her kidneys. She is for sure going to miss Charlies and Nicole’s wedding which they’re very disappointed about. However, they really just want Kasey back on the up and up and on the road to recovery. They are discussing postponing the wedding until she can be there, but that isn’t confirmed yet.

Prayers for family of missing girl

Please pray for Jenna Van Gelderen and her family.  Shelley sent the request and attached picture with the information below on the disappearance of Jenna.  Please pray for her safety and that she is reunited with her family.  Thank you.

Susan,

I am asking for prayers for this 25 year old girl and her family. Her name is Jenna Van Gelderen; brown hair; she is a high functioning autistic.  She was house sitting for her family and her brother went to check on her and found she was missing.  She drives a blue Mazda 6 sedan license plate # PWH502.  If anyone sees her or her vehicle they should call DeKalb Police.  She is the daughter of an attorney our firm works closely with.  Prayers that her family gets reunited with their daughter and that Jenna is safe.  There are several articles online regarding her. She has been missing for almost a month.  Thank you.

Prayer Request

Please keep Ray White, one of Bill Reynolds closest friends (his best man at wedding) in your prayers.  Lynn received sad news from Ray on Saturday that he has stage IV prostate cancer.  He will see a specialist this morning for the treatment direction.  Ray told Lynn that he is in shock, but wanted to let her know one thing and that is he is clinging to the great example she and Bill displayed during his battles with cancer.  Please keep Ray and his family in your prayers as he takes this next step for treatment options and for all his forthcoming days.  Thank you.
