Please continue to keep Mary’s Aunt Betty in your prayers. Mary sent the update below on her condition. Please pray for continued healing and comfort. Thank you.
Susan, just updating everyone on Betty’s condition. She regained use of the right extremity, arm and leg but her speech is still a little confusing. But she is continually improving. Still no known cause yet. Still in the hospital.
Please keep Mary Justice’s Aunt Betty in your prayers. Betty and her husband live in Athens and she suffered a stroke this morning and is at St. Mary’s Hospital. No more details available right now. Please pray for comfort and healing and the medical team. Thank you.

Please keep Paul Taylor, Brenda Ack’s brother-in-law, in your prayers. Paul collapsed yesterday and needs prayer for God’s healing. You may recall Paul being on our prayer list for a while. Peace and presence for the family, and wisdom and guidance for the doctors and staff.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Please keep Gail Draper in your prayers. Gail has been having healing issues with her right foot for quite some time and has struggled to walk. A hole developed on the bottom of her foot and is causing extreme pain. She text me today and said they are going to do surgery on the foot for the hole and ask for prayers. This morning she discovered her left foot has a big blister spot in the same area as on the right, which is how the first one developed. This is obviously upsetting to Gail. Please pray for healing and answers for Gail and wisdom and steady hands for the doctor and his staff. Thank you.

Please be in prayer for Mitch Irish and his family. Mitch’s mother, Jo Irish, passed away this week. Bob Slaton is good friends with Mitch and said he believes Jo was an original member of Hollydale UMC and some church members may recall the Irish family. Reverend Jim Lowery, Hollydale’s founding pastor, is officiating her funeral. Please keep the family in your prayers as they grieve the loss of their loved one. Below is the link to her obituary for those who would like to read it. Thank you.

Please keep Louise White in your prayers. She was feeling faint and not feeling well this morning. Thank you.
Please continue to keepThomas Evans in your prayers as he goes through his military boot camp training. Tiffany sent the note below updating on him and ask that you continue to pray for and if you feel led, to send him a note or card of encouragement. His address is attached and below as well. Thank you.
Susan, I received my first letter from Thomas. If anyone would like to write, send a card and words of encouragement, this is his address. I pray that all of HOLLYDALE’s many assortment of veterans will send a letter because we have all been there - WARNING - it may stir emotions since we lived that life and walked that walk - but he needs us most! Thank you for all the prayers - his spirits are high and he is tired as expected- but he claims he is aware of his God-Given destiny and states he is ready for combative training this week - he feels his purpose is clear and he had the pleasure of hearing a sermon his 1st Sunday in the chapel from Billy Graham’s son - praise God!
He said it was very encouraging and told me to tell Hollydale thanks for raising him and thanks for all the prayers! No comments about the Drill Sgts yet!
Respectfully,

Please continue to keep my mother, Betty Garrette, in your prayers. She is now under home hospice care. She is not critical, but does require medical assistance on an ongoing basis due to her heart, clogged carotid artery, being very weak and unable to care for herself. God has his healing hands on her and only He knows when he needs to call her home. Thank you for your prayers for her as well as for me and my family.

Prayer Request Susan, this is just a prayer request for this mother and father and their little baby girl. We as mama’s know what it is to give birth to a baby girl and I know how thankful I am for my daughter to be healthy. But this is a very sad story. Praying God sends a miracle to this young family. I can’t imagine the heart ache and fears that they have. We are all going through something, but my storms don’t compare to this.

I'm not one to ever swallow my pride and ask for help. I've also never been in such a tough and stressful place as I am right now. I never thought I'd ever get to be a mother but last November I found out I was pregnant at the age of 42. I couldn't have been more ecstatic and throughout the pregnancy I did everything right. At week 35 I started showing signs of pre-eclampsia but it went back and forth between whether it was or just gestational hypertension. On July 7th we went to the hospital, I was 37 weeks and 1 day and showing signs again of pre-eclampsia. This time the OB decided to admit me and induce labor. On July 9th @ 8:28am Chloe entered this world with no heart beat weighing 8lbs 12 ounces and 24 1/2 inches long. She was monitored the whole time and it's not totally sure when or what happened but the team of nurses and doctors began working on her immediately. They brought her back to us but there's major concern as to how much oxygen the brain may have lost. She was immediately transferred to Fl South's NICU to be placed on a cooling unit. The cooling unit was to slow the brain down and prevent any further damaging and allow what may be damaged to begin repairs. 72 hours later the cooling unit would begin warming up and bringing Chloe back to normal temperature. We are now on Chloe's time waiting for more signs that there isn't some total brain loss. 7 days after Chloe was born an MRI was done. The Neonatal doctor matched The MRI with the early EEG and they are saying she has severe brain damage. They say she may never be off a vent, crawl or walk and our family will have tough decisions to make in the very near future. We are praying and believing those tests are just one side of the coin and miracles are gonna happen. The road ahead will be long and tiresome..
Thank you

Please be in prayer for my mother, Betty Garrette. She had a heart catheterization today and they found her heart has more scar tissue and has narrowed. The doctor told my sister who is with her that she needs open heart surgery, but would not survive it. She is 80 years old. The doctor said it’s about quality of life now, not quantity. My mother lives in Tennessee, 5.5 hours away and can be a very difficult person at times and doesn’t want any strangers (and sometimes family members) helping her with anything. My sister, Ketiva, who struggles with Lupus needs prayers as well for her health and for patience with my mother. She can’t take care of her alone, is struggling to know what to do and any assistance she gets from outsiders my mother is mean and ugly toward them and they don’t come back. It’s definitely a battle. Thank you.

Message from Pastor April……..
Bishop Carl, Helen Moss & her granddaughter Kiara need our prayers. Their house caught on fire and most of the contents of the home were lost in the fire. We give God praise that no one was hurt. Please pray that they would be comforted by the peace and hope of God at this time. May God provide the care and the support they need to go beyond recovery and thrive for Christ glory.
Please pray for this family.
